Got out this weekend and kept the progress going. We basically have a shell put together, still needs Doors, and siding. I plan to use Log siding so it matches my house so i need to get to the local mill. We also put some 'fireplaces' in that are really shells that could later be used as feeders on the inside. I want to eventually put stone around the outside (also to match the house).
Once i make the doors, i will actually have a place to put the chicks into (but that is still some 4 weeks away). The goal for the next available weekend is to try and start on the run and put the doors in.
The roof is still a little sloppy as we need to get the trim up and then i will cut the shingles
A few years ago we built the house that is in the pictures and we had a punch list of everything that still needed to be done. I think i need a chicken coop punch list.
As we get further along - i will share more pictures.
