still no eggs!!

    18 and half week old rir's and still no eggs!!

    It is still early on. We had a pullet that layed her first egg at 16 weeks but that is a bit early.

    RIR, mine just laid her first egg at 22 weeks....they lay a bit later, 22-24 weeks...hang in there, she will get there!

    And yes, expect no eggs till at least 20 weeks....watch for the red combs and wattles...sure give a way they are almost there...
    mine started hanging around the coop more than usual...catch them sitting in the nesting boxes etc...

    Mine have been laying on and off for about 1.5 weeks. (they are all 20 weeks, except my RIR and one BR)
