Still questioning splash or erminette

I love blue and have a lot of different blues that I like to breed. In a specific combo I thought they were a super light splash I was getting but as more time goes on I realized some of their splash is black and some blue and Also their gold is coming out in some roosters. Each specific chicken in question also has a specific pattern and solid stripes on the bottom of each wing feather. If these hens I’m breeding are not white is it possible they are carrying that gene making the erminette color and pattern?

To me, it looks like a mix with some of the birds being splash and some of the birds being dominant white over blue or black. Most look splash to me but the second from the bottom looks paint. And possibly the silkie. Do you own the parents of these birds? That could probably tell you what the color possibilities are. They are pretty!

I do own the parents yes. There are a few different breeds in the pictures but with same breed of hen that is not white. I have bred a few of my white hens and made paints so I am familiar with it just playing around. If she’s hiding that gene would or could I still get paints?

They are all beautiful splash birds. Unless you had dominant white or paint to begin with, you can't hatch it, it's dominant rather than recessive.
The splash langshans are especially gorgeous.
It's worth noting that blue and splash roosters can get black feathers in their hackle and saddle feathers, it has to do with the feather structure. And that is consistent with what we see here.

That’s great to know! I’ve never had them this light but I’m a new fan! 😉 I appreciate this information!!

Lol sorry I didn’t recognize them all as splash! But Amer and the others have way more genetics knowledge than I do. I would just repeat that paint is made with dominant white so it can’t be hiding. One of the parents must be dominant white or paint in order to have a paint chick.

Got it! So splash they are! lol!

That is great to know! That solved my brainstorming for a good few months! I sure appreciate it!
