I have 4 light Brahmas in their brooding area with a heat lamp until they are old enough to introduce to my older girls and move to the coop there a about 3 weeks old and since we have had them there scared of us. We approach slow there set chest hight so we're not towering over them and wether we change feed water or just try to give treats they all run and huddle together, my older girls warmed up to us in a week or less how do I get my light Brahmas to trust and like us

At three weeks, they need no heat during the day. Chicks should be spending days outdoors starting at two weeks as long as the weather is mild.

If you set them up in a play yard, they will have a different perspective about their humans. You should have a coop and run all ready for them to move into in just two more weeks. They can spend time in their run now.

To bond with your chicks, let them explore the run or play pen while you sit on a cushion inside with them. Just be there, talking softly to them, letting them get used to you huge presence. Make chick grit available to them outside. This will prepare their gizzards to digest the live meal worms you will buy them from the pet store. (live not dry as dried worms are too hard on their little intestines.)

After they associate you with meal worms, they will be wanting to cuddle in your lap when ever they see you.

Thank you I will try all that

Mine are about 5-6 weeks old and I did what someone suggested about sitting in their space and letting them get use to human presences. I have a small dog that watches them all day-so they can know him, also. In the last few visits my Black Australops have been coming up to me, they allow me to pick them up and even walked on my shoulder and down my arm. If any of them squawk a lot I just put them down and try another time. They do run away when I first arrive but then they start coming around. I can't believe how much time I want to spend with them- take their pictures and show others on FB. This could be addicting !
