Still waiting for that last chicken...

Hey guys, I have a question. When did your Easter Eggers start laying? My Easter Egger is about 30 weeks. All my other hens lay but her. She is very sweet. But, she hasn’t shown any sign of squatting. I once posted a forum to see if she was a rooster or not. A lot of people voted pullet. So, I’m just waiting. I could be a little impatient or it could just be I’m excited to get blue, green, pink, or yellow eggs! If you want a picture, here she is: Above.
She kind of has a long hackle...Or isn’t it called a cape?

She looks to be close. Most start between 5-7 months of age. She also could lay brown eggs, so are you sure she isn't laying yet?

Yes, I’m sure. I’ve never seen her go inside the nesting boxes. All the hens except for my RIR are a week older than her and, even she is laying. Thanks for replying!

From what I’ve seen, she’s never squatted. I check her every day since I only have 7 chickens.

Well hopefully here soon she will start. Some can be slower this time of year. I'm still waiting on a few from May to start laying yet too.

There is no question that she is a pullet and that she will lay in her own sweet time. She does look as if she is close as suggested by @oldhenlikesdogs.
