I wonder if I put a male in with the bobs & that might get the egg factory started this year? The females are COOING like they are ready . The boys let a yell out every so often.. might just try it what do y'all think?I still might have to put a light in with them. BUT the days are getting longer now.
 
You don't need a roo to get an egg. They will lay when they are ready (although you can do things to jump start them like add light, increase protein, sing to them...

Seriously--light works for my chickens, so I'll bet it works for quail too. Increase the light!
