Stimulus check spending wish list, anyone?

Maybe you could use some of your stimulus money to buy a chicken rotisserie. That way you could show the rooster his options of either behaving property or being invited for supper!

I bought this with my stimulus check. I like this rotisserie. The charcoal tray can be adjusted up and opened or closed. It is also, easy to clean. I reached perfection on the forth time I roasted a home grown Bresse rooster.

Very nice. Years ago, Dear Wife and I used to BBQ chicken on a spit. Now she just prefers to buy a BBQ chicken from the super market. They sell their BBQ chickens as a loss leader to get you in the store. Works for my wife.

Anyway, maybe you could post the following picture and remind misbehaving roos that their options are limited....

Spent a little more of the stimulus money on a new Ryobi 18v attachment capable trimmer. I don't need the trimmer attachment, but I wanted the power head to drive my tiller attachment. I use the mini tiller attachment in the chicken run to turn over the compost in the run, and I also use the mini tiller in my raised garden beds. Works better for that than a full sized tiller like my walk behind gas tiller.

The 18v trimmer kit was last year's stock and it was on clearance. $50.00 off retail price to start with. Plus, I got another $25.00 off for signing up for a new Home Depot credit card. Essentially, I got the complete kit with power head, trimmer attachment, 4 Ah battery, and charger all for less than what the battery sells for alone. If you are into the Ryobi 18v line of tools, you learn to keep your eyes out for these special deals. I usually buy at least one Ryobi tool kit (with battery) every year to keep my battery collection up to date. The batteries are warrantied for 3 years, usually last longer, but they lose capacity as they age.

Here is a picture of the mini tiller attachment I have. This pic shows the Ryobi 40v power head, but the attachment works on both the 18v and 40v power heads.

Last year I used the mini tiller attachment to break up the chicken run compost to make it easier to pitch fork out into my compost sifter. Worked really good and saved my back a lot of stress. Pays for itself in that respect.

Anyway, a little more of the stimulus check money out the door into the local economy.
