A lot of people are talking about their chickens eating up their stink bugs. Does this negatively impact the egg flavour at all?

Thanks.

i would love to know the answer to this! good question! wish i could answer it for you! when i was kid in Ohio, our chickens would eat stinkbugs and i don't remember the eggs tasting any different. but i'm 42 now, that was quite some time ago and my memory may be fading!

Yours actually EAT stink bugs? Mine poke them a few times and then head for something else.

Which is a real shame, since we're having serious problems with the brown marmorated stink bugs in this area. I was hoping they'd help clean them out of the garden for me.

My three dogs also get stink-bug breath! I never really thought about my chickens getting all up in my face enough to smell their breath though. I'm sure I'll find out soon enough!

"Hannakat" says that stink bugs don't affect the eggs at all. I'm really new to the forum so I don't know how to quote something from a different thread yet, if that is indeed possible.
