I had this grand idea of hatching out my chicks and also hatching out quail eggs. (yea right) I timed it so that I could hatch out the chicks without having to mess with the quail eggs at the end of their hatch. We candled everything and all that was left were viable eggs. After I took the chicks out I also removed anything I could get my hands on, eggshells, etc.....Well now my incubator is stinking. Is this normal? Should I worry about one of the quail eggs in there rotting? I have some pips on the quail eggs, now what!

If it's stinking, somethings rotten in there! I candle all the eggs to see if I can figure out which one it is. If that doesn't work, I sniff them one at a time until I find it.

Amazing how much they stink, isn't it??

Im just afraid I'll mess up the quail hatch since they are starting to pip. I think I'll just have to live with the smell for a few days?

Eeeeeeeeee...my husband is gonna love this one! lol...
