Stinky Ducks

Hi guys! So currently my baby ducks are in my house, because the weather has been so cold and they’re too little still to be moved into an outside set up. With that being said, they smell!! They’re fine for awhile after I change their bedding, but if it goes for even a whole day without being changed, it smells up the whole house. Is there anything I can do to help the smell?? I don’t want to put anything in there that’s going to hurt them, but I can’t stand for my house to smell like this!! Thank you!

What kind of bedding are you using? Ducklings are very messy birds, so some stink is going to be present no matter what you do.

Besides cleaning it often there is not much you can do, you could put a water/feed catch tray under there water/feed to prevent it spilling onto there bedding, I believe some people also put horse bedding pellets in there bedding to act as an absorbent.
