Hi I've been a member for a few months now and really enjoy reading all the advice. I rarely have to post as I have only been running a basic set up and have been able to get any information I need from other comments.
I have two rescue heinz variety bantam hens and one of their daughters a buff Orpington hen a Ross hen a Sussex rooster as my main flock and I am expanding out into just Sussex and Orpington hens of a variety of colours. As I prefer their size, egg laying And They are well suited to our colder winters. I am also hoping to get some deuccle bantams at some point to be surrogates for our jap quails and pheasants and Australian call ducks.
