I'm back. Nope didn't see any meeting place for BYCers. But there were 4 buildings of birds. And the youth area. And building 2 had stuffs to buy.
The only chickens I came home with are a chicken hat, a chicken shirt and a chicken bib! Boy was I good. I took a few pics so I'll pick out a few good ones.

Man what a show. Phew. I only brought Fabio 2.0 (bantam barred rock cockerel) and Hera (self blue d'Anver). Fabio got 3rd out of 8 VERY nice other barred cockerels, so I'm pretty happy with that! Hera got a 1st (she was the only hen) and a Reserve Variety, which I think is DUMB because the pullet who got BV wasn't good at all. Thin, bad tail, dark coloring, dark head and even black skin on her face, what the heck? I don't mean to brag but, Hera is pretty much as close to perfection as self blues go, and with a much better tail. THough most of her beard WAS plucked out from a mean rooster, but still, she had much better type and coloring than the other bird... If I knew which judge judged her, I'd ask what the heck they were judging based on. Grrr.

OK DONT RANTING!
Last night I was out till 1am at a rave then had to wake up at 6:30 to drive from San Jose to Stockton. I was dead on my feet the entire day (and I'm about to head back down to San Jose to keep partying till Monday :X Party like a rockstar...)
I wandered around with Jordan for like 4 hours. We took pics of birds, laughed at people, and complained a lot. It was fun. I bought a bantam partridge wyandotte hen and a bantam wheaten ameraucana! They're not the BEST but they're pretty darn cute, and I've always wanted one... So w/e.

I took a bunch of pics but I'm running back out the door to head back to San Jose now, so they probably won't be up till Monday or Tuesday night, sorry! <3

LOL I'm glad we weren't the only ones who were confused about the BYC meet! We went over to the sales area and didn't see anyone so we went to wait for my princess to be judged! Way toooooo stressfull and then I went out to go to the bathroom and missed them judgeing her! She got 4th so I am so proud! I think she got 4th our of 4 but thats ok, I was worried she would get DQed cuz she was so much smaller than the other silkies! We had a blast, by the end of the day DH was sooooo ready to go home. Kinda strange since I had to drag him out of the Ventura show but I guess its different when you actually have a bird there. We'd been up since 630 since we drove up this morning so I suppose he was tired too. We didn't buy anything except breakfast and lunch! There were no Polish hens except for a hen/roo pair and we already have enough roos around here. So I guess I will keep waiting! Can't wait to go pick up my little show princess in the morning! She is gonna get even more spoiled than she already was!

Hi all! I'm sorry that there was no official "meet-up"! I kept looking at people like I knew who I was looking for!!

I arrived around 8:15 this morning and stayed until about 10:30. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Did not buy any birds though. Next time we should all get BYC t-shirts to wear!!
