Man what a show. Phew. I only brought Fabio 2.0 (bantam barred rock cockerel) and Hera (self blue d'Anver). Fabio got 3rd out of 8 VERY nice other barred cockerels, so I'm pretty happy with that! Hera got a 1st (she was the only hen) and a Reserve Variety, which I think is DUMB because the pullet who got BV wasn't good at all. Thin, bad tail, dark coloring, dark head and even black skin on her face, what the heck? I don't mean to brag but, Hera is pretty much as close to perfection as self blues go, and with a much better tail. THough most of her beard WAS plucked out from a mean rooster, but still, she had much better type and coloring than the other bird... If I knew which judge judged her, I'd ask what the heck they were judging based on. Grrr.

Last night I was out till 1am at a rave then had to wake up at 6:30 to drive from San Jose to Stockton. I was dead on my feet the entire day (and I'm about to head back down to San Jose to keep partying till Monday :X Party like a rockstar...)
I wandered around with Jordan for like 4 hours. We took pics of birds, laughed at people, and complained a lot. It was fun. I bought a bantam partridge wyandotte hen and a bantam wheaten ameraucana! They're not the BEST but they're pretty darn cute, and I've always wanted one... So w/e.
I took a bunch of pics but I'm running back out the door to head back to San Jose now, so they probably won't be up till Monday or Tuesday night, sorry! <3
