Stolen debit card UPDATE!!

The charges were made through ccbilleu.com. Three charges totalling $281.61. If anyone can manage to wade through the thousands of vendors they process payments for, have at it.

Mine was a debit card that can also be used as credit yet still comes right out of my checking account.

This is why I really don't like having a debit card or bank account for that matter. I wrote a rent check for a sublet last summer and the check was stolen. I didn't know until I went to use my debit card at the store and it got declined. I was confused because I knew I had a few hundred on that card. When I got home I went online to check my account and there had been charged $8000!! I called my bank right away and got it cleared up...I didn't even have that much $ on there so they pretty much knew it was fraudulent. Turns out the person who stole the check had written an extra number in the check amount. And it was so obviously fake because the number was hanging off to the side of the line..

You can put you acct on paypal and use that to pay for the eggs...I wish you luck!

I had a friend who had this happen to her someone in Ohio (she still doesnt know who) charged a lawn chair set, patio set with cushions, and a grill to hers in one transaction. This was when she was doing her christmas shopping and had just so happen to check her bank acct to see her card had been used. Worse part was it took them 6 weeks to put the money back in her acct.
