Hello duck people!
Quackers stopped laying over a week ago, she seems quite healthy and happy, although I have noticed she’s losing a few secondaries now and then. Cheese, my male hasn’t lost any at all.
They are eating and acting normal, but I thought it was too early for the spring moult...
Any thoughts? I am new to ducks, these are my first and they are my pets. They will be a year old in April.

Sounds as if she may be entering a molt. Not at all unusual for a bird to take a break in the laying cycle especially during these shortened day light periods.

Thanks for the reply :) I was worried that it’s still winter, not a good time to lose feathers! She does have a good shelter though, and sometimes they come in the house and have a visit with me.
