stopped laying

I have a chicken that was constipated we solved that now she is not laying eggs. it has been 2 weeks and still no eggs any advise.

Thanks
Kathy
Constipated? Do you mean egg bound? Or did she just sit in the nest box not moving, and had a huge poop every once in a while? What breed is she?

no she was not egg bound I watched her for a few days and she seemed to be wanting to poop but couldn't go. so gave her a nice soak in Epsom salts and a drop of castor oil, put her in a box over night and the next morning she had pooped. She is an Isa brown. Very healthy, eating well, good egg laying supplements, fresh water, lots of room to roam, roosting box cleaned regularly, has two good friends :) yes I am running out of ideas

Welcome to BYC!

So is she still pooping OK?
How old is this bird?
What all and how exactly are you feeding?

Where in the world are you?
Adding your general geographical location is most helpful.
Easy to do, then it's always there!

The bird is 9 months, still pooping, organic food - dried also fresh veg/fruit,
Live in TN
What is the protein level of feed?
If around 15-16%, the veg/fruit may be diluting the nutrition of the feed.
The constipation may have been caused by an issue in her intestines,
she may not be uptaking nutrition properly....or the blockage just could have put her off for a time.

Do they free range?
Might she be laying elsewhere than the coop nests?
Here's how to tell...

There free range for 2 hours in the evening and have a large pen other times that I check. They all have laid in the mornings but she may have changed her time :) I will look at the protein content and buy some grit. Thank you for the link it is very helpful. this site is so great!
