Stopped laying

Beginning of June 2008 I got a Plymouth Rock/ Americuana mix. I also have a rooster (mostly Americuana) and another hen idk what she's all black but they all came from the same place and it's likely the plymouth/americuana hen is related to the rooster (they had the same daddy).

Well anyway...........she laid three eggs. That's it. End of story.

why? She eats the same food, is fully feathered and seems happy.

Any suggestions?

Mine took awhile to lay consistently. At first, they laid a few eggs, then took the rest of the month off. Eventually they started laying daily, or every other day.

Except when they molt (shed feathers and grow new ones) or when it is really cold.

Also, some chickens won't lay in the winter time without the use of lights (mine lay but not as much).
