Our 5 month old leghorn suddenly stopped laying eggs after laying everyday for about 1 month. The last egg she layed was very large, then nothing for the last couple of weeks. All of our hens slowed down laying too, we think because of the excessive heat. We are back to getting 8-10 a day, all brown eggs from our black sexlinks but none from the our one leghorn.

This time of year molting is a consideration. Are there any other symptoms? Watch her to see how she's eating/drinking. Also check her crop at roosting time and again in the morning. How is her poop? Pics of her and her poop may give someone a clue on how to help more.

my profile picture is her. She seems to be eating and drinking fine. Behavior has not changed.

A 5 month old wouldn't likely be molting.
Do you free range?
She might be laying in range area.
Was the large egg a double yolker?
High production breeds are susceptible to reproductive tract problems.
Have you examined her thoroughly, vent look normal, belly not swollen, no external parasites???

Excessive heat can definitely cause a decrease or halt in egg production. Like @aart mentioned above, is there anyway she could be hiding her eggs? Perhaps in a cooler location maybe?

Yes she the egg was double yoke. Vent look normal, no swelling of stomach and no sign of parasites. She is in a large fenced area.

I too have a hen that hasn't laid for several days... nothing has changed. My hens have only been laying for a couple of months and I only have four. So please let me know if you discover the reason, I would really appreciate it!
