Stopped Laying?

I have 3 Easter Egger Hens that I think are maybe 4 or 5 years old. They've never been consistent layers (as per their breed), but since molting this season I am not seeing any eggs yet. Is it accurate to determine this by the color of their combs? Because all 3 their combs look dry and pale looking in color. Are my girls done laying?

Mine are usually pretty well done laying by that age.However I have had 8 year old chickens that will give me an egg or two a month.

They are done for now. They will probably start back up in Feb/March.
But they are also older now so maybe not as many eggs as they used to lay.

My 11 year old still pops out eggs in the spring and randomly in summer.
