Stopping a chicken from being broody in winter?

One of ours is properly broody, in the egg box all day, no feathers on belly, etc.

I was reading up on what to do to stop it and it all seems to involve separating her in the run so she isn't too comfortable, or ducking her in cold water.

Now, those seem like decent methods during summer, but it's constantly around freezing here just now, and it'd hardly do her health any good to be soaking wet when she'll never properly dry off, or be 'stuck' in a separate part outside in the cold. (The others all spend plenty of time outside, but they do seem to pop in back in the coop from time to time during the day to warm up.)

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Just keep the eggs collected up a couple times a day and remove her from the nest at least once day. The idea is to cool off her backside. Some breeds are harder to break of broodiness than others.
I have a serama hen that's been broody off and on all winter. Seramas have GOT to be the most broody breed in the world. I've had silkies before and they have nothing on seramas when it comes to going broody at the drop of a hat.
I used to freak every time she went broody and either work daily to break her or give up and give her eggs. Now I just keep the eggs collected up and let her have at it. Once a day, during free range time, I remove her from the coop and lock her out. She eventually breaks on her own.
