Storage tote for nest box?

Could I use a large storage tote, 34L x 20H x 18D, for a nest box for 6 pullets? It would be sort of a community box with no separation.

Sounds Ok to me. I've seen some great coops like this that stack 5 gall buckets on their side for nestboxes. You would only need 2 max.

sounds fine- i have 6 nestboxes, one is a tote- they prefer it over the nest boxes, and the feed bin!

Sure, why not? Mine also have a plastic doghouse (it was free from a neighbor!)
