Store brand ACV

Any brand ok as long as it has the mother in it.
OK, I'll bite, what's the mother?

What we call the mother is the organisms that turn that apple juice into vinegar. They're full of good stuff, B vitamins, etc. Regular clear store brands have killed them with the processing and filtered them out.

How would one know if the ACV contains 'mother'? when you mention clear vinegar I assume you mean distilled vinegar. I'm only interested in ACV.

The apple cider vinegar on the regular shelves is a yellow/brown color but it is still clear, no sediment or anything. That's what I meant. If it has the "mother" in it, it's usually cloudy and you see a lot of sediment in the bottom.

Galanie, thanks, that clears it up. The kind you're talking about sounds like it may be an organic ACV. I'll check around, I've read that some BYCers use Bragg brand or something like that
