I just bought another 50lbs of DE this morning and would like to know how everyone stores the stuff so it stays dry and is easy to scoop out when needed.

Mine also stays in the bag but I also drop the bag inside a large metal trash can with a lid, all stored in the feed & equipment area in the breeder house. When I need to treat the pen's and birds I just scoop it into a bucket and go from pen to pen sprinkling it with a scoop.

I puor it into the Rubbermaid, and I store it in a pen (more like a stall, really). When it's time for baths, I just remove the lid and dunk each bird into the powder, fluffing it all around them. I overdo it a bit, so when I put them back down and they shake off the excess, the bedding gets dusted as well!

I use a plastic clamp to keep the bag clamped shut.
