Storing eggs before they use the into the Incubator Question??? Plz Help!

Hi I was wondering when you are gathering your eggs to incubate how should you store them? Mine are in the egg carton pointed end up. Am I doing the right thing?

Fat end up pointy end down. want to keep them coolish below 70 Im shure there is a more accurate temp but I cant think of it off the top of my head. So fat end up in a carton in a cool place . Someone with more experance will be along soon I hope and you can store them for 8-10 days in ideal conditions no problem.
