Storing eggs In fridge

My fridge is perfect temp for storing eggs so would it be ok to put them in there for a week?

I would say a few weeks......on the safe side. I have heard that if you don't wash them until you are ready to use them they stay fresh longer due to a coating they have on them. We have a large family so we are lucky to have a dozen eggs stay in the fridge for more than a day or two!! Here is a trick............... put your eggs in a bowl of water.......Fresh eggs will sink in a bowl of water while bad eggs will float.
