Storing eggs refrigerator

I was reading rasing chickens for dummies and it says you can store hatching eggs in the vegetable drawer in the refrigerator. Is this true? Has any one tried it? Thanks

yes, i have read many post on here about storing eggs in the crisper, seems like most said no longer then five days tho, i think.

During my last hatch, I was short about 5 eggs. I pulled eggs out of the frig (not in the veggie drawer) that had been in there 10 days and they hatched!
