Storing eggs

An ice pack to me seems a little over the top. Store all chicken eggs that you want to hatch at 55f. A cooler is a good way to keep the temperature in the 55 degree f rarge but don't over do the ice thing. And remember what RosieR said about turning every egg at least once every day to keep the embryo from sticking to the mimbrane.

The hen will in fact move, turn, shuffle, or reposition, her own eggs about 100 times every 24 hours.
