Storing eggs

Ok, so I've gotten mixed messages on this topic:

What temperature should I store my eggs at prior to incubating?
Some places say 50-60 degrees, others say 40-80 degrees.

If 50-60, what do you all do when the room temp is over 60? I keep seeing not to keep them in a fridge even if it is set to over 50. I don't have a conveniently cool basement. I've been storing my eggs in the bathroom, which is the coolest room, but even then it is around 70. Perhaps a cooler with ice pack? Does anybody have success just storing eggs at 70 degrees for a few days?

How do you guys store your eggs? Methods? Ideas? Appreciate any advice you all have...

Room temp....not to get as cool as your frig.Eggs start to develope at 86 degreesF. Hope this helps.Do not store any later than 14 days.I usually only store my about 10.Hope this helps.Take care.

not in the refrig....Ive had several people tell me to put in the refrig..and they've hatched there!!!! yikes!!!! I was going to do a test run on some....I put a thermo. in there on the eggs and its at 45 degrees...oh no

Storing less than a week, under 85* on the counter. 90%-100% hatch rate
More than a week, around 65* basment. 75%-85% hatch rate
More than 2 weeks, in the fridge. 20%-60% hatch rate

wow, how about 11 days in the refrig...that is NOT 2WKS....

I know I know...but I forgot who told me to put them in the refrig...and I did...now what?....darn...
