Storing Food

    I'm looking to buy food in bulk. I'm wondering if there is a better way to store the feed. I'm thinking about 55 gallon drums. Does it matter if they are plastic or metal? Thank you.

    I'd recommend metal...rats can chew through plastic.

    metal and off the ground would be best i think

    I use the galvanized metal pail with a lid. I think it's by Miller or Behren's it looks like this:

    So far, no pest issues inside the feed! :-D
