I have 4 EE pullets that are about 4 months old, I want to be able to hold/pet them but they are still very skiddish. WELL! That seemed to change last week when we had a bad storm come through and they didn't make it back in the coop. I opened the kitchen door and they happily came inside and my favorite, Paloama, hopped right up on the counter and them my SHOULDER and just stayed there to snuggle with me ... made my day!

EE's must come in a big variety of colors. I have 4. 2 of them are the same colors, 1 is like the other two except it's head is dark, and 1 is all white. Your EE looks like my Silver Laced Wyandottes. I have had 5 chickens roost on me at once. OK yes I'm nuts I really dig my chickens.

Quote:Mine were sold to me as 'pure bred Auracanas (rumpless)' but none of them hold any of the 'purebred' traits, only non-standard SOOO they get lumped into the EE category! Still love, love, love every bit of them!
