Storms in the South tonight!

We made it through okay, too! Not so much as a lost tree branch!

It is no longer a desert breeze here. They are refusing high profile vehicles from traveling I-15 from the Cajon pass to the Nevada state line. That is about 200 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have had downed power lines, trees, trucks blown over, etc., and I have to drive a Corolla home!!

I made it home and was thrown out of my lane only twice!!! Someone else wasn't so lucky - a big rig toppled over on the back end of a pickup causing a major traffic jam. No one was injured though.

Yesterday we had a lovely sunny and 78 degrees here.

By 5:30 p.m. CST, we're dark clouds and under another tornado watch until midnight.

Dawn

Woke up this morning to about a half inch of snow on the ground. Temps never got above 40 degrees F.

Went out to feed and water earlier and just happened to notice a few brave blooms:

Lady Banks Rose:

Just think...in a couple of months we'll be wishing it would cool off!
