Hi everyone! Sorry, I’m not so sure where this would go but I’ll just put it here. We are having a small lightning storm tomorrow afternoon, and the pullets have only been outside for three nights. Is there any preparation I should do? I plan on locking them in the coop with water and food until it is over. Thanks!

We have sudden storms here a lot. I do not lock them in, they run into the shelter if they want to. I have seen 6-week-olds enjoying our sudden rain in the hot weather!
Wow! I guess I’m overthinking it. I’ll let them roam around, but I think I’ll nail the door open so it doesn’t bang though. Thanks!

They go in the dog kennels if they want to, there is a perch that they prefer above this shot.

Just make sure they aren't out free ranging when it hits. When it starts to rain hard some will sort of panic and not remember how to get back in the hen house. I have a covered area for them next to the hen house and they love to sit there and watch the rain.
