Eli took the cup gratefully and curled his fingers around it to warm them up. "How much do I owe you?" He asked, placing the mug in front of him. He reached into his pocket and drew out a few coins, surfing through them with his pinkie to count them quickly.
Angelina sat down and placed her small, warm cup in front of her. "Oh, it's alright, you don't need to pay me back." She said.

He looked up at her through the long strands of silvery hair that had fallen in his eyes. "I insist. I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight if I knew I had let a girl buy me hot chocolate. In fact, if we are following tradition, I should be paying for yours as well."

She chuckled. "Well then, if you want, I don't suppose I should stop you. Yours cost a dollar fifty." She ran a hand through her long, shiny brown hair, all the way to the ends where she simply flicked it away over her shoulder.

Eli landed her a few quarters, combined with some dimes and nickles. "There." He sat back in his chair and yawned now that he was warm. "Gosh, I might need you to carry me home after this." He joked.

"I know what you mean. Isn't the cocoa here wonderful?" She said, after taking a swig of her coffee. "So, do you live near here?"

"Oh..." Angelina sighed, placing her cup back onto the table. "I'm currently looking for a place. At the moment, I'm just hopping from friends house to friends house." She said quickly, looking down at her short, but slender fingers.

Eli watched her intently, his silvery eyes kind and never straying from her face. "You could come with me." He offered "We don't exactly live in a 5 star place, but it keeps out the rain and wind at least."

Angelina looked into his eyes for a moment, before quickly looking away. Her eyes continued to flit from his face to her fingers, to her feet, and back. But she smiled and retained a casual voice. "Normally I'm not too quick to make a decision like this, but I think I'll take you up on that offer."
