I recently incubated 18 "Vorwerk" eggs I got from a breeder. I saw this person's chickens at a show so I do trust that this was simply an accident and a single egg ended up somewhere it shouldn't have
As well as the colour and markings being off the chick has a rose (?) comb. Also did hatch from the odd one out egg, which should've been the first sign to me but I've never had these chickens before and I know with my own chickens how much egg colour variety can happen sometimes. The egg was a light brown/cream colour.
I do not remember what other breeds this breeder had other than Lakenvelders... but we will be contacting the breeder at some point so I thought it might be interesting to see what everyone's guesses are in the meantime!
