stragglers leg?

I think my 4 day old chick has this condition. It cannot seem to bend one of its legs and both feet are pointing out sideways. I have tried the plaster method for actioned of days and there is no change. How long should I keep trying this method?

You need to use some vet wrap or a bandaid and tape up the legs so the chick can stand and hobble around for a few days. Here is a nice link to treating spraddle leg in chicks. Scroll down to the section on splay legs and hobbles....

In Great Britain bandaids are called plasters - is that what you tried? I usually leave them on until they fall off - sometimes a week or more.
