Straight run? Is it really?

When I bought 5 "straight run" assorted bantams from TSC (3 OEGB, 1 white silkie, 1 mille fleur D'Uccle) The three OEGB's ended up being roosters, The D'Uccle and silkie ended up being hens.

Most places don't even try to sex bantams. They are too small. Some have enough trouble with full sized chicks.

On that Mike Rowe "Dirty Jobs" episode where he was sexing chicks, the guy that worked at McMurray said that four sexers could handle 80,000 chicks in one day. Some were feather sexed and some were vent sexed. I'm not convinced that we heard the full story, after all it was on a TV show, but it seems they can do a lot in a day. At one each second, with four of them working, that is about 6 hours with no breaks. That is moving pretty fast.

If I got 25 out of 25, I'd think they either stacked the odds against you or they misread the order and pulled them from the wrong bin. I would not order from them again either.
