I have a strange behavior happening in my nesting boxes.

My chickens are messing with my porcelain eggs.

I went out to collect eggs and found one porcelain egg in the next nest. Another day I go and two of the porcelain eggs are moved to the next nest. Yesterday I found one porcelain egg moved to the next nest.

Every time I find them moved I put them back where they belong. I have six nesting boxes, They are stacked vertically by two. They have 5 1/4 inch divider.

I purchased a wooden chest of drawers and used the drawers for my nesting boxes. Can anyone tell me why they are moving the porcelain eggs?

Thanks

I don't see how they could ... could somebody be messing with you? Can you post a picture of the nesting boxes?
