strange behavior.

i have a 6 month old partridge cochin pullet. She's recently started burrowing a hole in the bedding and bawking a lot, very cranky if I do say so myself. Is she about to lay an egg or what?

Has she laid eggs before? How would you feel if something the size of your head was about to come out of your butt?

Haha, no she has never laid before, which is why i'm wondering if that is what is going on now.

Yeah, if everything is normal, no sickness, bugs, flockmates bothering her, I'd say you may see an egg soon!
