Strange Candling

Hello, I'm currently incubating some turkey eggs, and we are on about day 19 right now.

I have two eggs that are the epitome of perfection upon candling, one egg that is obviously a dud, and one egg that is doing really, really weird stuff.

The weird egg looked like it was shaping up to be a day 10 quitter, but I held it back just in case. Now at day 19 when I candle, it's grown significantly darker (which I would normally consider to be growth), but also has REALLY weird dark pooling blobs in it. Think lava lamp.

Is it possible that I'm just seein a chick leg dangling down, with the light playing tricks on me? Or am I growing aliens?

Thoughts? Experiences?

btw, the egg doesn't smell.

No idea but if it dosnt smell and there has been a change set it maybe a bit away from the others just in case but leave it .. Maybe youll have a chest popper or face hugger any day know. LOL I use to use alien jokes at my OB visits and my dr thought I really thought I had an alien in me

for smart people they can be really thick sometimes.

Ok well mystery solved yesterday. The egg started to stink, so it had to have been a bacterial growth glooping around in there like a lava lamp. seriously weird stuff.

Good thing I didn't have to deal with a chicken version of a chest burster

In other news, the other two eggs are chugging along like champs at day 24! I think I'll lock them down tonight Yay turkeys!
