Strange chicken behavoirs

I have a hen Japanese Bantam who is nearly blind. She finds her way about with the help of her 'guide' who is one of the Roosters. Every where he goes she is right behind him (literally) with her head buried deep into his tail! Almost looks like I have a long chicken with 4 legs and wings sometimes.

She will also do this with my small dog - which gets my dog worried as she does not understand what is going on! She is attracted to large moving things - and she will even do it to people - squashing her head and breast to the side of you ankle as you walk - have to be careful not to step back onto her.

The strange thing is that all the other roosters and hens never bother her. She seem exempt from the pecking order thing.

cute, and shes not in the pecking order because shes an 'elder' in their minds, they see her as one who knows all and shouldnt harm her

I have a Speckled Sussex named Prissy. I will treat the girls to meal worms. Prissy will go between another hen's legs to get the treat. Yes she flips the hen over!
