When our chickens were 2 months old, I was in the chicken yard, watching the chickens. I noticed that our barred rock had something in her beak, and the other chickens were chasing her. When I got a closer look, I saw it was a frog! I had its back ripped open, and the eyes were bulging out. After that, the other chickens started to catch on, and they started eating frogs. Also, they will eat banana slugs, and get their beaks glued up, so I have to clean the slug slime off.
