My 8 month old hen,a black Astralorp, has started the oddest dance, she will walk up to thr roo and stop just 6" in front of him, head down, wings spread wide, & her tail spread open like a Tom turkey. Roo normally does the thing roos do.
Last evening, my hen refused the roo,then walked over to MY husband and did this odd dance, and sat on his boot! After a few minutes, both birds roosted on my lawnmower handle-bar, waiting for sun-set & lock up.
