Strange disease? Or some defficiency?

They are recovering fast and the Egg production went up.
Now I will start to treat them for Leg mites too.
Can you Let them breed while doing this treatment?
I'm concerned that the petroleum jelly on the legs of the hen will be rubbed on the eggs.
Is this a problem?

I would hold off on hatching until you have a handle on their problems. No point in adding babies that will get killed by whatever is plaguing your birds. That would just be sad and tragic. Get them recovered and then let them breed.
