Strange disease

i have over 70 bycs that is mixed up
frm a few weeks old to mature
ones..of late there is this strange
killer disease..the chicken get
moody,their feet become week and
they can nolonger stand, they refuse food then eventually die.the
whole process usually takes
1-2weeks.Ones one is dead
another one follows suit

In order to determine what the issue is, we need to know more about your setup.

Are your chickens penned, or do they free range? If penned, how large is there pen? Have you ever had chickens before on your farm, did the previous owners have chickens? Have you brought new birds onto your farm in the last month or so? If you have, did you quarantine them from the rest of the flock for several weeks before integrating them? What do you feed your chickens?

There are any number of things that could cause what you're seeing, not the least of which is coccidiosis, Marek's Disease, or some other bacterial or viral issue.

If you are having multiple chickens die, it would be best, in my opinion, to have a post mortem done on one of them to determine what disease you're dealing with. In what state do you live? Have you contacted your state vet's office?

That's what I would do, if I were having the troubles you are.
