Yesterday I got a double yolk egg from Jenny. This morning she laid a strange shaped egg. Is this common after a double yolk? She’s been laying for about three weeks. Attached is a picture of her double yolk and the strange egg.

I should note she is fed Purina flock raiser crumble with oyster shells and grit on the side. They get less than a hand full of scratch amongst 6 chickens daily when I go out to feed and water.

Ehhh....just a shell gland glitch, she's still getting the 'egg machine' tuned up.
Was there two yolks in this one too?

I’m not sure. I had to leave for work but will probably crack it open this evening. If not tonight then I will in the morning. I’m assuming it’s safe to eat?

Yes, as safe as any egg that has an intact membrane.
When in doubt....
Open eggs one at a time in a separate dish before adding to pan or recipe,
use your eyes, nose, and common sense to decide if egg is OK to eat.
