Strange egg material? Warning gross pics

When I checked on the chickens this morning I found something odd on the ground under the roost. It looks kind of like a meaty lump surrounded by a hit of albumen. A couple feet to the side I found what looks like a torn soft egg shell. What the heck is this?

Might be a lash egg. Cut it open, & take a picture?

Sure thing, here's a couple pictures of it cut open. When I felt it it was soft, and the inside was clear and gelatinous. Really strange.

That's a head scratcher.....doesn't look to be lash material.

Right? I'm thinking my ISA Brown most likely laid it because she has had some other egg issues recently. I know that they are prone to reproductive issues earlier in life.
