Strange egg yolk...

The last couple of weeks I've had a few eggs that seem a little strange. They look completely normal when cracked, but when I try to mix them up for scrambling, there are some darker orange spots that don't mix in. They seem almost a little sticky or jelly like. Any ideas??

Some of my darker yolk eggs are hard to scramble. Being fresh make them stronger, older eggs are weak and beginning to break down. It's normal for there to be some discrepancies in the yolk color from in to out. Certain foods can affect yolk color.

We all get used to the uniformity of store bought eggs which is actually abnormal as every egg is an individual and you never know what you might find in your own eggs.
