This is a friend of mines egg. What is that?

It looks like it some kind of parasitic worm. She should def try and find out what kind via google, BYC and/or pictures and deworm her chickens acordingly.

In the search bar on the BYC main page type in worms in eggs and threads of people who had the same issue will come up. There is info of what type of dewormers people use as well as the dosages in some of them.

This is a friend of mines egg. What is that?

It kind of looks like a round worm, but it's not too common to find them inside the eggshell without also seeing them in the poops.
It could also be a piece of tissue shed from the reproductive system.
Was it firmly attached to the yolk?
