Strange Egg

Any thoughts on what would cause one of my routineregular hens to lay an egg like this?

If it’s not a regular occurrence and the hen seems healthy/her usual self I would not be too worried. They can sometimes just have the odd blip.

How old is she? Is it soft or hard? I've had a 3 yr old hen lay one that looked like that, she laid normal the next day! Hopefully same for your girl!
