strange egg

This Afternoon my son went looking for eggs, and found a strange (what looked like) a shell-less egg with something like a yolk. It also had a tail like extension. WHAT IS THIS???

My chicks haven't begun egg laying, but I do no their are a lot of pops
Infact I think their is a post on here somewhere that people add a photo of their pops eggs
