Strange Lump under Chicken wing

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if you guys could help me with a problem with one of my hens. Today I saw her dragging her wing. I thought maybe she could have gotten in a fight with another hen. But when I held her I felt a large lump under her wing. It's a little smaller than a baseball and hard. She doesn't appear to be in any pain and she is eating well, but she does sometime step on her dragging wing. I think maybe she could've gotten hit by something or maybe stung by an insect. Do anyone know how to treat this type pf injury?
I would appreciate any help I could get.

The OP hasn't been active for a couple of years. Could you start your own thread, and post a picture of the area slightly wetted down for better visibility?
